OBM PathwayInitiative

About us

An NGO built to operate, not just to promise

OBM Pathway Initiative is a registered non-governmental organisation in Nigeria. We exist to create practical pathways out of poverty — for children, women and the communities that raise them.

Our mission

To improve the health, education and economic wellbeing of children and women in underserved Nigerian communities through well-run, measurable and sustainable programmes.

Our vision

A Nigeria where every child has a fair start and every woman has the tools to thrive — where opportunity is a pathway, not a privilege.

Our operating system

How we turn intention into impact

We run the organisation like an operating system: a repeating four-step cycle that keeps every project accountable to the communities it serves.

01

Listen

Every programme starts with community conversations — we map real needs with local leaders before a single naira is spent.

02

Design

We turn needs into a clear programme plan with defined activities, budgets, timelines and success measures.

03

Deliver

Trained field teams and community volunteers execute the plan with weekly operational check-ins.

04

Measure

We track outputs and outcomes against targets, publish results, and feed every lesson into the next cycle.

Our values

What guides every decision

Compassion

We serve with dignity, putting people before programmes.

Impact

We measure what matters and let results guide our decisions.

Integrity

Transparent finances and honest reporting build lasting trust.

Partnership

Communities lead; we walk beside them, never ahead of them.

Our team

The people behind the pathways

A lean core team supported by a growing network of community volunteers.
